The St. Louis Public School District won't see a change in its superintendent for the next three years.
The Special Administrative Board of the St. Louis Public School District announced this morning that Kelvin Adams, its current superintendent, has agreed to a three-year contract extension.
“I appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve the students, staff and community of St. Louis,” Adams said in the Board's press release, “Although we are making progress, we still have much work to accomplish.”
The release states that Adams is now in contract through June 30, 2014, "providing the District with stable leadership for six consecutive school years."
