This weekend - with the publishing of an opinion piece in the New York Times entitled "Loving the Midwest," St. Louisans, once again, showed their concern with how the Gateway City is viewed and portrayed on the national level.
Some felt it was a great piece highlighting some of St. Louis' best attributes, while others thought it didn't paint the picture of the city and region they know.
Because it's clearly causing a stir, we decided to talk about it. We hosted a live chat today from noon to 1 p.m. CT about the piece and the ideas about our town presented within it.
Read through the chat below and feel free to continue the conversation with us in the comments or on Twitter or Facebook.
