Carrying change around has gone the way of 8-tracks, a $1.00 gallon of gasoline, and dressing up on airplanes. These days, you tend to only need coins for – you guessed it – parking meters.
In late September, the City of St. Louis replaced the meters on Olive in front of our Grand Center studio with a convenient, solar-powered kiosk that takes credit cards, paper bills, and yes, coins for those late-adapters among us.
You’ll never be late for another "Kitchen Sink Series" event again because you were scrounging in your car for change!
