This month, two separate groups graced St. Louis Public Radio with their presence, and got an up close and personal look at STLPR's studios, offices, and personnel!
The first group is a collection of students, from grades six through nine, working with SIEU's "East St. Louis Coding for Community" program. The program is designed to teach computer system coding "to build a website all about the history and culture of the East St. Louis region. " They visited on July 8 to see how STLPR digitally documents and publishes about the community.
The second group, who visited on July 15, was the International Women's Club, an outreach service of the Washington University Women's Club. There members welcome and host international visitors and their families to WashU, and even take interesting field trips to places like STLPR.
And these weren't our first tours! If your professional or social group is interested in getting their own fun look, contact Marquetta today at manderson@stlpublicradio.org or 314-516-6402.
