A story we've been telling you about for some time about a downtown nightclub has developed even further today.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a judge ruled to revoke the liquor permit for Lure, now known as Amnesia, effectively closing the nightclub.
Previously, a group of residents tried to collect enough signatures to get the club shuttered. Judge Margaret Walsh wanted to bring in a witness to clarify some signatures on the petitions.
And even before that, Walsh ruled in September that the city had presented substantial evidence of littering, loitering, and violence associated with the club, and revoked its license.
The owners appealed.
The club owners could also appeal Walsh's ruling today on the signatures - and have 30 days to do so, according to the Post-Dispatch.
