Concert and event cancellations are stacking up as the St. Louis region tries to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
The city of St. Louis banned all gatherings of more than 1,000 people. In St. Louis County, the limit is even stricter: no events with more than 250 people.

The Enterprise Center postponed all events scheduled through April 4. The Sheldon Concert Hall postponed all performances scheduled through April 15. The Fox Theatre, Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Pulitzer Arts Foundation and St. Louis Regional Chamber canceled all events through March. Bigger venues, including the Pageant and the Enterprise Center, are publishing schedule adjustments on their websites.
Below is a running, noncomprehensive list of events that have been canceled or postponed. If you are planning on going to an event and unsure if it is still scheduled, call the venue to double check.

- “The Bachelor Live on Stage” at Fox Theatre, postponed
- Gabriel Iglesias at Stifel Theatre, postponed
- “Damnation of the Faust” at Powell Symphony Hall
- Missouri State Parks has canceled all events and programming until April 30.
- The Contemporary Art Museum canceled public programs and events through April 5, however exhibits remain open to the public during regular hours.
- The Gateway Region YMCA is canceling all older adult exercise classes, but will remain open for members with a modified class schedule.

- SFJAZZ Collective at Sheldon Concert Hall, canceled
- St. Louis Science Center will close to the public until March 31
- St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown St. Louis, Belleville, Cottleville and Alton
- TobyMac at the Enterprise Center
March 15
- St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Waterloo
- St. Louis Youth Symphony Orchestra at Powell Symphony Hall
March 16
- Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri has canceled all events until March 31.
- Dermot Kennedy at the Pageant, postponed
March 17
- “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at the Fox Theatre is postponed; performances were scheduled until March 29.
- Dogtown St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival, postponed
- The St. Louis Art Museum canceled all museum tours and public events through April 30, however the museum’s galleries and exhibitions will remain open to visitors.

- Six Flags has postponed its opening day until the beginning of April.
