Vasily Petrenko conducted the St. Louis Symphony in concerts Oct. 22, 23 and 24 in Powell Hall with pianist Olga Kern as soloist. The program included Rachmaninoff's The Isle of the Dead, Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor and Elgar's Enigma Variations (Variations on an Original Theme).
