In our monthly Sound Bites segment in partnership with Sauce Magazine, host Steve Potter sampled a few summer drinks with Cory King, Ted Kilgore and Ligaya Figueras, executive editor of Sauce Magazine.
Cory King, head brewer at Perennial Artisan Ales and founder of Side Brewing Project, brought along a couple different Berliner Weiss beers to try. Ted Kilgore, co-owner and bartender at the soon-to-open Planter’s House, made a fresh daiquiri to compare with a daiquiri containing store-bought mixer. Kilgore recently left his position as beverage director at Taste, a cocktail lounge in the Central West End, to open his own cocktail lounge, Planter’s House, which will open at the corner of Chouteau and Mississippi Avenues in Lafayette Square.
Ligaya Figueras highlighted some of the summer drinks mention in the July issue of Sauce Magazine.
