Comedian Greg Warren spent his high school years in Kirkwood juggling the roles of student athlete and band nerd, which provided plenty of fodder for his comic routines. He got his start in comedy while a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia and has gone on to perform on Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing and the Bob and Tom radio show.
He returned to his native St. Louis this week to perform at The Funny Bone Comedy Club in Westport. His latest album, “Running Out of Time” takes material from his recent move to New York City and what it’s like to be single and in his forties.
“Forty-five, I realized, is an age where if you wanted to do something in life, you better have started a while ago,” Warren said. “If I want to have a family, I need to meet a girl, date her, marry her and get her pregnant I think by Tuesday.”
