Welcome back! We begin our live broadcasts of the St. Louis Symphony for the 2014-2015 season this weekend, and you can be right there with us from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13.
On select Saturday evenings, St. Louis Public Radio broadcasts the Symphony's performance over the air, bringing you a live classical music experience wherever you are.
Here's what's planned for you this weekend:
- SMITH arr. Sousa/Damrosch The Star-Spangled Banner
- BRAHMS Piano Concerto No. 1
- VAUGHAN WILLIAMS The Lark Ascending
- NIELSEN Symphony No. 4, “The Inextinguishable"
Which will feature the following artists:
David Robertson, conductor
Yefim Bronfman, piano
Erin Schreiber, violin

We spoke with Robertson on Cityscape this week and previewed the season, which will spotlight 50 musicians.
And as an extra bit of fun, it's conductor Robertson's 10th season with the Symphony. Check out this video about him:
