  • STLPR seeks a Managing Editor of News to set the newsroom’s editorial vision, standards and day-to-day direction on news coverage.

All St. Louis Public Radio internships pay an hourly wage of $15, along with the opportunity for college credit depending on the requirements of interns’ respective degree programs. Each internship averages a time commitment of 25 hours per week.

Development (Fundraising) Intern

The intern will assist in a variety of development and fundraising-related tasks including donor communication, donor stewardship and administrative tasks as well as data collection and processing.

Marketing & Communications Intern

The intern will assist with digital marketing, including email and social media, as well as ad targeting and paid search.

Missouri Statehouse (Journalism) Intern

The newsroom intern will regularly contribute newscast reports and web stories about developments in the Statehouse.

Newsroom (Journalism) Intern

The intern will learn valuable broadcast and recording skills, attend press conferences, upload news stories, conduct interviews, and may be asked to assist anchors in producing newscasts.

Newsroom Visuals (Journalism) Intern

The visuals intern will apply and develop storytelling skills through impactful still photographs of breaking news, enterprise reporting, and other journalistic content across STLPR’s digital platforms.

Special Events Intern

The student will assist in the preparation of St. Louis Public Radio events including planning, set-up, execution, and breakdown.
