Confluence New Play Festival

Confluence New Play Festival

St. Louis Shakespeare Festival’s Confluence New Play Festival is the culmination of the Confluence Regional Writers Project, established in 2018 to nurture playwriting talent in the Midwest. Each year, the project awards three nine-month residencies to emerging playwrights from Missouri and Illinois, providing them with support and mentorship. The festival will showcase the work of the 2025 cohort, whose recipients will be revealed during the event, offering audiences a glimpse into the future of American theater.
