The film festival is open to the entire community. Guests are welcome to attend one or both films. Masking is optional.
3:30 pm: Abe
With the help of a Brazilian chef, a 12-year-old boy who dreams of being a cook tries to find the ideal recipe to break down the cultural barriers that divide his half-Israeli and half-Palestinian family.

Suitable for kids in grade 4 and above.
Intermission
5:00 pm - Israeli-style refreshments
5:45 pm - Enjoy a presentation all about modern life in Israel by our STL Shinshinim (young adults who serve as international ambassadors prior to serving in the Israeli army)
6:15 pm: Zaytoun
Beirut, 1982: a young Palestinian refugee helps an Israeli fighter pilot escape from PLO captivity because he wants to visit his ancestral family home. En route through war-torn Lebanon their relationship develops into a close bond.
110 minutes – English, Arabic, Hebrew, with English subtitles
