St. Louis, MO – The sister of St. Louis rapper Nelly has died after a long battle with leukemia.
Jackie Donahue was 31. She at a St. Louis hospital Thursday morning.
Donahue was diagnosed with leukemia four years ago and had been in remission for two years before having a relapse.
Nelly arranged a number of bone marrow drives to try to help, but a match was never found.
Nelly and Jackie also formed an organization, called Jes US 4 Jackie, to help those in need of bone marrow matches.
