Missouri Lawmakers Receive A Lot Of Cardinals Tickets, Snacks From Lobbyists

Brent Jones | St. Louis Public Radio.

Lobbyists have paid for more than $130,000 worth of Cardinals tickets and baseball snacks for Missouri lawmakers since 2007, according to our analysis of the data. Here are the top five post-season games they went to, as well as who has received the tickets, and who has paid for it.

Methodology: We combed through data compiled by LobbyingMissouri.org, an NPR and St. Louis Public Radio collaboration, and marked any gifts with a description that indicated it was for a Cardinals game. It's an imperfect system, and means that we likely left off many items that didn't disclose what the gift actually was. You can click here if you're interested in downloading the data for yourself.
