With primary elections coming up on March 19, Illinois voters will have more party nominations to decide than just the presidential contest.
Candidates for U.S. Congress, the Illinois House of Representatives and — in some districts, the Illinois Senate — will also appear on ballots. The primary election will decide which Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians and Green Party candidates will represent their parties in the Nov. 5 general election.
One of the first steps to making a plan to vote is finding out who is on your ballot, which depends on the voting districts where you live. Chicago Public Media has built this tool, based on data from the Illinois State Board of Elections, to help voters understand who is running for office in some of the key races during this election. Enter your address to see who will appear on your ballot.
