St. Louis, MO – A new $2.5 million transit center opened in the West County area Thursday.
The Bi-State Development Agency says it's the first of its kind in the county, and will serve four local bus routes.
The station is located at Ballas Road and Highway 40, and transit officials estimate 125,000 riders will use it each year.
Bi-state's Linda Hancock-Ross says it'll help city-dwellers who work in the county.
The facility has an indoor waiting area, information kiosks, and features transit-related art.
