St. Louis, MO – A company from Los Angeles called Galveston Discount Warehouses bought the St. Louis Centre shopping mall on Wednesday.
The downtown St. Louis mall was built 20 years ago for $95 million. But it's now mostly empty and was sold at a foreclosure sale Wednesday for $5.4 million.
Galveston isn't saying what it will do with the property, but it adds it first wants to talk with city officials before making plans public.
