St. Louis, MO – A St. Louis police officer was sustained serious leg injuries Thursday night after he was pinned between two cars.
A car hit another car that hit the officer as he was arresting a suspect. A second officer had minor injuries.
The incident happened at 7th and Lebanon, just south of downtown.
Police Chief Joe Mokwa says one of the officers was having surgery Thursday night at Saint Louis University Hospital.
A 25-year-old officer suffered serious leg injuries and had surgery.
Police say a vehicle crashed into a sedan, pushing the sedan into a third vehicle. One officer was pinned between two of the vehicles in the crash.
