St. Louis –

Ten years ago, Muslims in Bosnia suffered the worst atrocity in Europe since World War Two.

The Bosnian Serb Army under General Ratko Mladic massacred nearly 8,000 people, most of them men and boys, in the city of Srebrenica.

Many survivors of that horror along with thousands of other Bosnian refugees settled in St. Louis.

Juso and Fatima Jasarevic told their story to KWMU's Matt Sepic. It aired Monday on PRI's The World.
