Bob Reuter was a man who lived by no rules, a man who called it like he saw it. He was a beloved St. Louis musician, writer, photographer, radio personality, and friend who was taken from us in a freak accident on August 3rd, 2013.
In the wake of us his death, many of his past works of art have surfaced from places far and wide. This art includes unreleased recordings from many of Bob's bands as well as numerous black and white film prints of St. Louis people, places, and culture. And now the St. Louis community and beyond has come together to celebrate a man, his life, and his art in this full Arch City Radio Hour tribute to Bob Reuter. We'll hear from Tony Patti, Paul Rose, Bill Streeter, Roy Kasten, Marc Chechik, Erin Wiles, Bowls MacLean, Jason Holler, Matt Harnish, Mat Wilson, Chris Baricevic, and fans from out of state as they share memories and thoughts on a truly great American life and a legacy that will continue to inspire many.
Music featured in this hour encompasses Bob's career from The Dinosaurs through Bob Reuter's Alley Ghost and varies wildly in terms of recording quality.
