It may feel like a big leap between admiring someone’s home garden and starting your own. But doing so is not so far a jump with some guidance from experts: people who know what it’s like to plant – and actually grow – in St. Louis-area yards, porches and even window boxes.

Daria McKelvey, home gardening information and outreach supervisor at Missouri Botanical Garden, and Megan Moncure, engagement director for Seed St. Louis, joined St. Louis on the Air on Wednesday to share Home Gardening 101 tips for folks looking to plant this spring.

To hear the entire conversation with Daria McKelvey and Megan Moncure, listen to St. Louis on the Air on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube, or click the play button below.
