A recently revealed vulnerability on a state-run website has revived conversations about cybersecurity and whether the state is doing enough to protect sensitive data.

The governor made the comments after signing legislation into law shielding companies from lawsuits related to COVID-19, except in the event of “recklessness or willful misconduct.”
