Belleville's Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled the last ride, dubbed the Sunset Tour de Belleville, this coming June.

A squatter took possession early last year and refuses to leave, and police can’t force entry without a court-ordered eviction, according to Belleville officials.

An indictment unsealed Thursday in the U.S. Court for the Southern District of New York alleges the strip mall's owner used a “sham company” to attempt to lure a rush of investors that would artificially inflate the property's value and potentially make him millions.

The courthouse will remain open to the public, but the southwest entrance and the pedestrian crosswalk tunnel between the South First Street public parking garage and courthouse will be temporarily closed.
