Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of St. Louis

Earlier this year, the archdiocese announced reorganization plans to close more than 40 of its 178 parishes by 2026.

The announcement of a final restructuring plan known as All Things New came after two years of work. The archdiocese said the changes are needed to address a shrinking and shifting Catholic population.

Some St. Louis Catholics are dismayed by an Archdiocese of St. Louis plan to fundamentally reorganize its parishes. The plan would consolidate 178 parishes into 88 groups that church leaders are calling pastorates.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis has made the decision to close Rosati-Kain and St. Mary’s high schools at the end of this school year.
