A recent vote by St. Louis Public Schools board members means fewer kids will have a St. Louis College Kids Savings account through the City of St. Louis’ College Kids program.

The board chose to end its partnership after months of questions about whether College Kids truly helps launch St. Louis Public Schools students on the path toward college or trade school.

After 7 years, Tishaura Jones' signature college savings account program has limited buy-in and an average account stuck at $73.
