Republicans won all the statewide offices up for election Tuesday including attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer and lieutenant governor.

An August poll by SLU/YouGov has Republicans leading every statewide race for the Nov. 5 election.

Andrew Bailey, Denny Hoskins, Vivek Malek and Dave Wasinger emerged victorious Tuesday in the Republican primary contests for Missouri attorney general, secretary of state and treasurer, respectively.

Missouri Republicans campaigning for lieutenant governor in the August primary are making it one of the year's most crowded races, including two state senators, an attorney, a county clerk and a businessman.

The lieutenant governor is next in line to be governor, breaks ties in the Missouri Senate and sits on various boards.
