Meet STLPR’s latest newsroom additions: Education Reporter Hiba Ahmad and Digital Editor Jessica Rogen. Plus, we touch base with STLPR’s photojournalist Brian Munoz, who was recently named the station’s first Visuals Editor.

St. Louis Public Radio has won six first place and six second place awards from the Missouri Broadcasters Association, including the first and second place Sunshine Hero Awards for investigative reporting.

St. Louis Public Radio announces that Sarah Fenske will leave her post as host of St. Louis on the Air, effective June 22. Fenske will begin a new role in late June as executive editor for the Euclid Media Group, supervising all editorial content for the Riverfront Times, Detroit Metro Times, Cleveland Scene, Cincinnati City Beat and Louisville Eccentric Observer.

The contest received 202 student entries from 48 schools across the St. Louis and Rolla regions.
