Eldritch horror is a genre of fiction inspired by the writings of author H.P. Lovecraft, among others, in the early 20th century. Unlike the genre’s forefathers, however, today’s Eldritch authors shed underlying themes of xenophobia and racism for modern stories that are inclusive.
