Power Outage

Many residents in the St. Louis region remain without power nearly a week after Saturday’s powerful storms. Ameren Missouri on Thursday was still working to restore electricity to 1,500 customers. That’s down from more than 100,000 people who lost power last weekend.

The weekend’s storms led to damage including blocked roads, power outages, downed trees and two deaths.

While snow accumulations were less than expected in St. Louis, rural areas to the southwest saw more snow and power outages.

Ameren and Spire don't expect any disruptions for customers in the St. Louis region, who could face higher gas bills.
