St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency

A St. Louis County Council member is working on a bill that would require the County’s Department of Emergency Management and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to review construction and utility permits near Coldwater Creek.

Vaccinations in St. Clair and Madison counties remained just above 40%, while case positivity rates tripled in the past month.

The clinic will close on May 30 following waning demand for shots both locally and nationally. County residents will be able to get vaccinated at the health department once the large clinic closes.

On Friday, an estimated 800 people who were not eligible under state and county vaccination guidelines had scheduled appointments.
