Teen Photojournalist Prize

The 2024 St. Louis Public Radio Teen Photojournalist Prize's top honor was given to a Francis Howell North High School senior.

St. Louis Public Radio invites all Metro area teens with an interest in photography to enter the 2024 STLPR Teen Photojournalist Prize.

The winners and finalists of STLPR’s 2023 Teen Photojournalist Prize were honored during a public reception and opening ceremony for this year’s exhibition on May 17.

St. Louis Public Radio has selected eight winners for the 2023 St. Louis Public Radio Teen Photojournalist Prize, including Marquette High School senior Gemma Speichinger, who won Best in Show.

The contest is open to high-school aged teens in our listening area — including the St. Louis, Quincy, Illinois, and Rolla, Missouri regions — who demonstrate a talent for documenting their world through photography.

The contest received 202 student entries from 48 schools across the St. Louis and Rolla regions.
