Nationally, only 4% of mental health professionals are Black, which means prospective Black clients have fewer options to find someone they can relate to.

Photographer Tyler Small uses his camera as “a compass” to discover parts of his hometown he otherwise wouldn’t access and to support Black fathers’ access to mental health services.

The Village PATH and Undo Bias Consulting host a storytelling event Oct. 28-29 where 10 men will share their stories about how masculinity has influenced their lives.
