University of Missouri chess team

Since 2019, the MU Chess Team has made an impact in the world of collegiate chess, due in large part to the efforts of two of the team’s founding members.

The Mizzou Chess Team has only been around for two years. It performed exceptionally well in the global, virtual competition.

Members of the chess team from the University of Missouri have had to adapt how they practice and play chess during the pandemic. But that hasn't stopped them from winning.
